Specialty Vehicles was proud to display their new Spirit of America Low Floor Trolley at
the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) Trade Show in Detroit, MI this week. The
34’ trolley, American made by ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC (ARBOC), seats up to 37 passengers and
features dual entry doors, electronic destinations signs, dual roof top AC units, a Braun fold-out ADA
ramp, cupola and dark oak interior.
“We were pleased to present the new trolley to so many new and returning customers,” said Nancy
Munoz, CEO of Specialty Vehicles. “This trolley is beautifully built and has so much to offer. It will no
doubt be an incredible addition to many vehicle fleets for cities and transit agencies across North
ARBOC partnered with Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) to develop the exclusive Low
Floor XBA chassis used for the Spirit of America trolley. Additionally, this unit boasts the only OEM
chassis warranty in the low floor market.
The Spirit of America trolley complies with all FMVSS regulations and has Altoona testing certification in
the 7 Year / 200,000 mile category. Currently the trolley is only offered with a Cummins diesel engine
but Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) will be an option this fall.
