ARBOC / Specialty Vehicles Partner on New Low Floor Trolley
ARBOC Specialty Vehicles & Specialty Vehicles Partner For Low Floor Trolleys
September, 2016 - A new era in trolley manufacturing has begun! ARBOC Specialty Vehicles and Specialty Vehicles of Henderson, NV, have teamed together to produce and provide the first true low floor purpose built trolley in the United States. This new Trolley will be manufactured on the Freightliner XBA low floor, rear engine diesel chassis. This chassis was designed by ARBOC and is built by Freightliner, exclusively for ARBOC. Without manufacturer modification to the chassis, a full ARBOC body and Freightliner chassis warranty will be available for this type of unit.
Design and chassis size are still in the development stage, but with ARBOC’s technology and body-building expertise, the low floor trolley will undoubtedly be well constructed, highly engineered and very aesthetically pleasing. Completion of the first trolley is slated for early 2017, with manufacturing taking place at the 115,000 square foot ARBOC factory in Middlebury, Indiana.
As the exclusive distributor, all domestic and international sales for the low floor trolley will go through Specialty Vehicles in Henderson, NV. With over 30 years of trolley sales experience, Specialty Vehicles is thrilled to be able to offer this new, updated trolley line to its extensive list of customers. “For years Specialty Vehicles has wanted to add a low floor trolley to our line of vehicles; we’ve really seen an increase in need for this type of trolley in the industry. We’re delighted to partner with a reputable manufacturer who will build a well-designed, heavy duty trolley for us to offer” said Nancy Munoz, founder and CEO of Specialty Vehicles.
