Trolley System Added to Florida State Fair
 
Visitors at this year's Florida State Fair, Tampa Fla., will now be able to ride from their parking spots to the fiargrounds' entrance in one of four new trolleys, the Florida state Fair Authority has announced.

Free to all passengers, the air-conditioned and heated trolleys can each seat up to 40 people with standing room for an additional 20. Six trolley stops throughout the fairgrounds will be easily identigied with flagpoles and rigid banners. In addition to the state fair, each unit will be rented year-round to organizations hosting events at the fairgrounds.

The ADA-certified trolleys were purchased from Specialty Vehicles in Henderson, NV.

The new transportation isn't the only new improvement to the fair's parking, as fair officials also announced the addition of 3,000 free parking spaces.
